August 21, 2004 1:56 pm Tucker, Ruckman take seventh in rowing doublesSCHINIAS, Greece - The boat of Steve Tucker of Mooresville, Ind., and Greg Ruckman of Cincinnati, Ohio, beat five other pairs to win the B final in lightweight men's double sculls Saturday at the Schinias Olympic Rowing and Canoeing Center. The win gave the U.S. a seventh-place overall finish with a time of 6:45.20. A French crew took the gold, Slovenia won the silver, and Italy the bronze. Cincinnati's Pat Todd ended his run in the men's lightweight four with a ninth-place finish. Todd and U.S. boatmates Steve Warner, Paul Teti and Matt Smith finished third in the B final, behind Serbia and Montenegro and Russia, but ahead of Austria, Germany and Spain. The championship race is Sunday.
